SF school Board kills PE credit for JROTC

July 8th, 2008 by max

Great stuff, SF school board kills PE credit for Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps.  I am all for this as we don’t need to give kids extra incentives to join the army.  This is why I live in San Francisco, to hear news like this.

Peace!  Will someone give Bush a blowjob so we can impeach him?

San Francisco public high schools will no longer award physical education credit to students enrolled in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, the Board of Education voted Thursday in a hastily scheduled meeting.

The 4-1 vote will likely cripple the 90-year-old military education program that serves 1,200 students because most use it to satisfy their PE requirement.

George W. Bush Sewage Plant coming soon to San Francisco?

San Francisco’s Sewage Plant, or water processing center which is located right on the south end of Ocean Beach, might be named after the President George W. Bush.

Go sign the petition and help honor the President Bush today!

Aye, this will be great since there were Bush supportors yelling out his name every year or so at Ocean Beach.

San Francisco, California (Fox) - A group called the Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco has launched a ballot initiative that would rename a city sewage treatment plant the “George W. Bush Sewage Plant.”

A petition is being circulated that would put the measure up for a vote in November. If it passes, it will rename the city’s Oceanside Treatment Plant for the 43rd president of the United States
