Here’s a cool site called HD-SF.com that offers live view of the San Francisco downtown in HD plus more features like time-lapse videos.  Now if you live in one of those buildings and this thing has a super-zoom feature, it can be served as your security system.

The financial district, Fisherman’s Wharf, Telegraph Hill, Russian Hill and Nob Hill San Francisco as viewed from across the bay in Sausalito. The camera captures an image every fifteen seconds twenty four hours a day. San Francisco Bay is famous for its fog and if the image is gray (or all black at night) that is what you are seeing.
