Oooh, check this out and make sure to not get into a limo on a hilly side in San Fran.
Check out SF Beta if you have some cool new technology or you are a blogger to promote your site. The next SF Beta party is on March 29th. Sign up at the wiki and you might get yourself some free promotion!
We’ve got four bar tables set up, and three hour-long slots for each one. That means that twelve lucky startups will have the chance to show themselves off to hundreds of developers, early adopters, and bloggers, not to mention a journalist or two.
Signing up is easy. There’s no form to fill out, and you don’t need anyone’s permission. Just visit our wiki, edit the page, and enter in your name under any open slot.
Ocean Beach in San Francisco provides a perfect wall for street graffiti artists to practice their painting skillz. You can also start bonfires.
You can check out some of the cool graffiti arts people have made. (it was too cold today for us to walk around to take some pics…)
NOTE: We do not condone any graffiti actions as they are illegal but bonfires are okay since they are legal.
You can see this funny advertisement by Sterling Bank on 17th Ave. and Geary Blvd across from the Rite Aid. Apparently, a street graffiti artist had turned the “make bank” into “make dank” and also made the guy in the ad smoke.
We have been driving by for about 1 week and notice that this ad has not been changed. Obviously the message is clear, you can make DANK at Sterling Bank. Although we do not endorse smoking ganja, this was very funny and we had to take some pictures.
Just in case you want to make dank, make sure to check out Sterling Bank on 19th and Geary.
You can go to SF SPCA and adopt a cat or dog. A cat goes for about $100 for adoption and a dog goes about $200. Well those are just donations anyways. I’ve been going at least once a week to check out new puppies but so far only one Yorkie showed up so I will have to keep checking… Their website has updates of the available cats and doggies so make sure to check them out if you are thinking about getting a cat or a doggy. Woof woof!
Nick Douglas brings us some humor during his SF Bus ride.
Remember the fuss in Boston about the Mooninite LEDs and how the government spend unnecessary $3 million on blowing these up? Michelle and Safire found the cool LEDs in San Fran. Cool…
Michelle Clay and Safire found two of the Ignignot (Mooninite Marauders) LED signs in San Francisco, similar to those that terrorized the innocent citizens of Boston. Here’s Michelle’s story and Safire’s story, of how two “5ft girls with 10ft sticks found Mooninite LEDs in SFâ€Â.
Also check out some cool comic strips about the Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
How appropriate. Gavin Newsom, San Francisco’s mayor, this week lost a key aide after having an affair with the man’s wife. Man-about-town Newsom’s new girlfriend is Jennifer Siebel, an extremely attractive blonde actress. Siebel’s next movie? The appropriately titled ‘Trouble with Romance‘, which premieres at the Cinequest festival in a month. The photo opp Newsom’s remaining staffers will want to avoid: a picture of San Francisco’s accident-prone mayor in front of the movie’s poster.
