Oak street is probably one of the worst streets in San Francisco (to get your car towed). I feel so sorry for the residents living on that street because when 7AM hits, there’s like 100 tow trucks ready to tow anything on the road. I am sure people who live there have gotten their cars towed at least once while living there. And that’s not fun at around $200-300 to get your car out.
Anyways, yesterday I was on Oak Street (again!) and witnessed a 3-car crash. Couple months back on my motorcycle I almost got swiped by an idiot driver who decided to move 3-lanes just so he can make a left turn.
Folks, no matter how busy you are, please respect other drivers and motorcyclists on Oak Street (and everywhere else in SF) even if you don’t live in San Francisco.
Making roads in San Francisco safer means you start driving safer. More people who can do this, the less accidents we will have.
