About a week back, I “spotted” WiMax 4G connection right here in San Francisco.  Although I couldn’t actually connect to the internet, it seems clear that WiMax 4G is coming reaaaaal soon to San Francisco with many HTC Evo 4G users reporting they are getting 4G signals.

For those of you who have been deciding on whether to get the first 4G smartphone the HTC Evo 4G or the new iPhone 4, I would definitely suggest the HTC Evo 4G as WiMax 4G will be enabled here in San Francisco any minute plus AT&T coverage in San Francisco is horrible, not to mention all the dropped calls.

Couple months back a WSJ journalist called my on his iPhone 3Gs to interview me.  Well, his calls dropped about 3 times and he calls back after that on his landline, saying, “Yeah, I got AT&T iPhone 3Gs that keeps dropping my calls.”

Nuff said.
