UC Berkeley Students Took Their Dance to The Streets a bit of Riot!
As a former college student who did probably what every college student did, I can appreciate a good dance party. But what I cannot appreciate is students getting too messed up and starting a riot. Seriously, folks, don’t break retail store windows for no reason, there’s absolutely no good reason that you did that.
And from the video, it seems like most people were dancing like they were on ecstacy. I would just make a suggestion as someone who has lived through college party scene, keep it inside a building folks! Obviously, these college students weren’t in control of their situation, there were just being college students, being dumb. They deserved to get beat down and please students, unless you are really protesting about something, don’t waste taxpayer’s hard-earned money.
I work really hard to make a living here in San Francisco and I don’t want that being used to stop college students. Rather, I wish it was used to fund colleges for education.
If you are going to do a protest, do it sober, disrupting peace of your neighborhood isn’t the right way to do it, just an advice from someone who was crazier in college than any of you.
Btw, UC systems suck, I’ve been in a UC system, it simply is one of the worst systems for college students.
I remember when our school system would make more money by hiring more parking officers and charge like $50 per parking ticket.
The worst? Is the food, food inside school is way more expensive than outside school. That’s unacceptable, students shouldn’t have to pay more money to get food inside the college, that’s ridiculous. I hated being a starving UC student. In many other places in the world, college schools usually offer cheaper meals over retail.
Well,I am just glad to be out of that hell. Don’t fight, go do something else with your life. Degrees are just pieces of paper anyways, it won’t do you any good in real life.
Your life is too precious to be sitting at college desks and learning calculus or physics. Instead, go do something you really want to do.
