Here’s some good news for SF residents looking for some good street food.   Chef Laurent Katgely of Chez Spencer will be starting a new mobile truck similar to LA’s Korean BBQ taco-truck, except he will serve some fine French food at recession prices.

The latest entrant to the gourmet taco truck trend is set to hit the streets of San Francisco tomorrow night. The Chron and 7×7 report that chef Laurent Katgely of Chez Spencer will start serving french fare from his new mobile kitchen Thursday evening across the street from Terroir Wine Bar (recently written up by the NYT). The chef soon hopes to expand the truck’s route to include farmer’s markets and other sites like popular parks.
