Free Wifi in San Francisco by Meraki!

Meraki has been working on setting up repeaters all over San Francisco to setup free wifi for everyone.

Of course, the project seems to be centered around the Mission district as of now and there’s pretty much none near Sunset and Richmond areas.

You can help spread the free SF Wifi by applying for a free repeater here.

I remember you had to pay like $50 for this before but I guess they are giving them away free to volunteers now.

With the help of volunteers like you, we are building a network with thousands of indoor and outdoor repeaters! Each of these little boxes spreads the network a little further, bringing free Internet access to you and your neighbors. Depending on where you live, you might be able to help us out. And if you can put a repeater outdoors at your place, even better!
