49ers vs. Giants Predictions!

As many of you San Francisco (should) know, 49ers and Giants are about to hit up Candlestick Park in couple hours, here’s my predictions for the game that decides which team goes to the Super Bowl.

First, I think 49ers have a better, overall team, with #1 defense in NFL.   I would have to say the New York Giants got a bit lucky last week when they beat the Green Bay Packers.

Also, the weather is supposed to rain during the game and this could play a big factor.  The 49ers are used to the winter rain months while Giants are more used to snow.  Plus the fact that the g

Curry Taco Trucks Spreading Like Wildfire in SF!

curry-taco-truck-sf-2

It seems that rather than taco trucks that sell tacos and burritos, Curry Taco trucks are gaining in popularity like crazy near downtown and SOMA.

I noticed a bunch of these curry taco trucks and the line was pretty darn long for each of them.

Here’s a couple curry taco trucks you can follow on Twitter:

@CurryUpNow

@JapaCurry

Seems like both sell pretty good curry if there’s so many people in line for it.  I will surely try to get my hands on o

Oak Street Accident in SF!

oak-street-accident

Oak street is probably one of the worst streets in San Francisco (to get your car towed).  I feel so sorry for the residents living on that street because when 7AM hits, there’s like 100 tow trucks ready to tow anything on the road.  I am sure people who live there have gotten their cars towed at least once while living there.  And that’s not fun at around $200-300 to get your car out.

Anyways, yesterday I was on Oak Street (again!) and witnessed a 3-car crash.  Couple months back on my motorcycle I almost got swiped by an idiot driver who decided to move 3-la

Damn SF Tour Buses Blocking the Whole Street!

sf-tour-buses

I wish SF tour buses had more courtesy to SF residents.  Yesterday, I spotted this tour bus from Marin AirPorter blocking the whole street.  It isn’t such a big deal but the bus driver could have waited one more light before making that left.

Just because you are in San Francisco, doesn’t mean you should drive crazy, actually most SF residents drive with courtesy to other drivers on the road, it’s those people from outside SF driving crazy in the first place.

Living in San Francisco, everyday I see something new, check out this guy’s Toyota Tundra, there’s a doggy step on the back so the dog can get into the car easily.

Cool.

I Applaud Parking Enforcement Officers!

You know when I first moved to San Francisco, I got a parking ticket like every other day, which added up to couple hundred dollars really quickly. Well, I “HATED” (with hatred) those parking enforcement officers then.

After living in San Francisco for over 5 years now, I actually applaud the parking enforcement officers of San Francisco and I even wave at them whenever I see them.

And oh yeah, I never get parking tickets anymore, I got smart.

But why sudden change in my feelings?

I live really close to SF State, and all these college kids pretty muc

Best Place for Families to Live in San Francisco?

I’ve lived in many parts of San Francisco and I think there’s a “best” place for families to live or I mean people with kids.

I think Sunset District (district near the ocean) is probably the best place to live for families or at least around there.

Why?

Pretty much anywhere near downtown SF is just too commercial for your 3 year old daughter. Perhaps if your kids are a bit older in college, I think downtown SF is great, perhaps in one of those high-rise buildings. Or if you don’t have kids or you are single, definitely there’s a t

Best Pediatrician in SF – Dr. Caroline Yong

I’ve been taking my 3 year old daughter to Dr. Caroline Yong since she gave birth and I just wanted to recommend to others in Sunset, San Francisco area.

She’s been very good doctor for my daughter and I highly recommend her.

Let me tell you a story why. Couple months ago, my daughter had a really bad cold which turned to pneumonia. Well we went to see Dr. Yong the same day and guess what, she locked herself out of her office! But the great thing was that she still managed to get us the medicine my daughter needed by simply calling into the pharmacy couple blo
